Paperbark Camp
Paperbark Camp was Australia's first luxury tented camp and is eco-tourism at its best. Paperbark Camp is very much an activities based camp. However, it is also a haven of peace and tranquillity for those that want to do nothing at all except relax and be amongst the nature and wildlife.
After dinner in the tree top dining room, head to your canvas hideaway amongst the soaring eucalypts. Built above the ground, all tents are stylishly furnished with locally handcrafted bush furniture, and feature hardwood flooring, full insect screening along with all the amenities expected for a luxury camping experience.
Things to do:
- Head out before breakfast through paperbark, gum and mangrove forests to spot kangaroos, on a bushwalk
- Walk or drive the Sea Cliff Bridge, the start of the Grand Pacific Drive
- See water shooting up to 60 metres in the air from the Kiama Blowhole
- Enjoy a round of golf at the pretty Vincentia Golf Club
- Dive or snorkel in the crystal clear waters off Jervis Bay, or spot the resident pod of dolphins around the bay
Stay three nights for the price of two. Valid until 23 Dec 2010 & 16 Jan - 31 Mar 2011.
Offer excludes Friday and Saturday stays.
